Training for B.A.S.E.® group leaders
This B.A.S.E.® Babywatching training seminar is designed for staff employed at early childhood educational institutions, and for elementary school teachers.
Information about the one-day training seminar:
As part of training to become a B.A.S.E.® group leader, you will receive theoretical information necessary to conduct B.A.S.E.® Babywatching sessions as well as information about the history of the program and about important aspects of attachment theory.
You will practise how to ask students questions based on videotaped examples and live demonstrations with a mother or father and her or his baby.
You will be given informative material needed to conduct a nursery school or elementary school class.
After the one-day seminar, you will be qualified to conduct B.A.S.E.® Babywatching at your school or nursery school.
In contrast to other prevention and support programs, B.A.S.E.® Babywatching is less time-consuming, easy to implement, requires no preparation and follow-up, and taps into your individual competence and abilities.
